I love cute things
私はかわいいものが好き

but I never use them
でも絶対に使わない

once I buy it
一度買ったら

I like to admire it
それを見惚れるのが好き

but I feel like
でも思うの

if I have something cute
もし私が可愛いものを持っても

it doesn’t suit me at all
私には全く似合わない
※ at all(全く。発音はリンキングして「アトール」になる)

so I just like to look at it
だから私はただ眺めるだけが好き

I would buy pencil cases of rerakuma for example
私は買ったらリラックマの鉛筆ケースを例えば

but i’ never use them
しかし私は全く使わないそれらを

because they’re so cute
なぜならとても可愛いから

my friend when she was young
私の友達私が若かった時の

couldn’t eat a peep marshmallow
食べられなかったピヨピヨマシュマロが

it’s a marshmallow the shape of a little baby bird
それはマシュマロ小鳥の形状をした

as an adult I gave her a candy in the shape of an octopus
大人になったとき私はあげた彼女にキャンディーをタコの形をした

and she couldn’t eat it either as it was too cute
彼女は食べなかったそれが可愛すぎて

I get that I’ve done it before
前にやったことがあるのは分かるけど

and most of the time
たいていは

I would eat it
食べるよ

but sometimes it’s so cute
でも時々、すごくかわいくて

that I can’t
食べられないんだ

like in Japan, they have a like a manju in the shape of a little bird
ええと、日本では、小鳥の形をした饅頭みたいなのがある

I think it was called hiyoko Manju and and so cute
ひよこ饅頭って名前だったと思うけど、すごくかわいかった

I really didn’t want to eat it
本当に食べたくなかった

I took so many pictures before I ate it
食べる前にたくさん写真を撮った
